Short photography time at Bondi

These were taken on rock platforms laid along the path for Bondi Tamarama Coastal Walk (please refer to here for the coastal walk).  I had had an appointment in the morning at Bondi Junction and I extended to the beach after the appointment. I rarely visit this Sydney’s most famous beach, simply because it is aContinue reading “Short photography time at Bondi”

Weekly Photo Challenge: 2017 Favorites

Here are my 2017 favourites; the photos caught sunrise at Byron Bay Lighthouse in September.  I missed to catch but saw silhouette of whales and dolphins up and down on the ocean that took morning sunlight.  It’s like they were dancing. I took many photographs this year and I really like some of them, but eventuallyContinue reading “Weekly Photo Challenge: 2017 Favorites”

Serene morning at the shrine

I would like to share a couple of more photographs out of decent amount that I took at Fujiyoshida Sengen Jinja shrine (富士吉田浅間神社), which I mentioned in my previous blog with a photo (here). It was a cold morning in early spring season and base areas of Mt. Fuji remained snow unmelted on the roadside.Continue reading “Serene morning at the shrine”

Weekly Photo Challenge: Ascend

This is my submission to this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Ascend. When I stepped into the centre of this tree bunch to look up above, it realised me how little me attempting to find out how big they are, its non-sense right. They live way longer than me and that’s enough to be respected thatContinue reading “Weekly Photo Challenge: Ascend”

Walk in

This is my submission for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness this week. I was at Centennial Parklands in Sydney and photographed this. It was late afternoon and there was nobody at the spot.  Afternoon sunlight shed through among tree branches.  Mild breeze rustled tree leaves and fallen leaves. Walking into the small pass, I was listeningContinue reading “Walk in”

Weekly Photo Challenge: Temporary

Every wave forms in different shape, which could never be the same as any other waves to come. Every wave breaks in with different crushing form which you will never see exactly the same again. This is why I am attracted to watching ocean, watching waves keep rolling in. This is my entry for DailyContinue reading “Weekly Photo Challenge: Temporary”

Community

It was when I went to Leura Cascade in Blue Mountain National Park with a friend in one winter morning. It was around 7 am when I got the point, and there are only a couple of people I saw in the area. It was cold, drizzling, and sight was lost because of thick fogContinue reading “Community”

A morning tea party by wild flowers

That morning, I was at the coastal walk between Bondi beach and Tamarama beach, where is venue for open-air art exhibition; ‘Sculpture by the Sea’. At a corner of the path, these beautiful flowers and plants drew my attention.  They even looked like gathering there to have morning group chats as bathing morning sun.  IContinue reading “A morning tea party by wild flowers”

Variety

Here I would like to show a part of many snap shots of trees I took during winter season in Sydney, which is now in the middle of high spring season.  Most of them are seen in my neighbors (with rich in green fresh leaves now!), and many of them shouldn’t be rare in plantContinue reading “Variety”

A lone seagull on the rock – 一羽のカモメと背景

These photos were taken at Byron Bay when I went for my birthday trip.  It was really short trip but I had really great time entirely. Anyway, I like these photos because of the slight yet continuous background changes happened behind the lone seagull on the solid rock.  I also like form of a seriesContinue reading “A lone seagull on the rock – 一羽のカモメと背景”
