As soon as TranzAlipine rails was arrived at Greymouth, we hired a car and drove Westland District down to Fox Glacier.
It was wet day all over the West Coast. When we arrived at Fox Glacier, it was already evening. We checked-in the accommodation, took dinner, and rested for next day.
Next morning, I got up a little early and took a short walk around the accommodation. Rain was up and clouds were getting to uncover mountains and glacier, which thrilled me enough because, we were going to land on the ice for a short hike on the day.
